Our Founder
Meet Pratibha Krishnaiah, a passionate social entrepreneur who quit her corporate life to help people in rural India, leading a group of remarkable women are knitting their way to a brighter future. Helping women transform their traditional knitting skills, once used to keep their families warm, into a source of sustainable income and economic empowerment. With Pratibha's guidance, they've begun crafting beautiful hand-knitted scarves, hats, and other cozy accessories, offering unique warmth and a chance to support a community thriving on tradition and innovation. With an aim to give women a platform, she has successfully driven HImalayan Blooms & all our artisans through empowerment & employment.

Our Artisans
HImalayan Blooms is all in all a community of exceptional artisans. Their lives, once focused on the rhythms of mountain life, have been transformed by the rhythmic click of knitting needles. These skilled women, with a deep well of tradition passed down through generations, weave not just yarn but also warmth, comfort, and newfound independence into every stitch. Their hands, accustomed to the harsh beauty of the mountains, now create intricate patterns and cozy textures, each piece a testament to their dedication and artistry. By supporting our artisanal knitters, you're not just getting a handcrafted treasure, you're becoming part of their inspiring story of empowerment and self-reliance.
